Wanneer een ecologische verbindingszone kan worden begrensd op Top10NL niveau kan deze worden meegenomen in de kaart. Dit model biedt geen ruimte voor beleidskaarten met een ander abstractieniveau. Begrenzing is gebaseerd op Top10NL objecten. Deze klasse is de basis voor de ambitiekaart.

Description: Dit bestand bevat een robuust stelsel van natuurgebieden, beheersgebieden en verbindingszones. Door natuurgebieden met elkaar te koppelen worden de overlevingskansen van dier- en plantensoorten vergroot. Een groot aantal van deze natuurgebieden bestaan al en is in eigendom van natuurbeschermingsorganisaties. Om het beoogde netwerk van natuurgebieden te voltooien zullen ook nieuwe natuurgebieden worden ontwikkeld. De nieuwe natuurgebieden zijn de afgelopen jaren begrensd. Vaak zijn dit gebieden die nu nog een landbouwkundige functie hebben.
